second step, with sketchup 2025, youâll get asked if you want to purge whenever you save. please pick yes.
your file is a mess, a huge pile of unused things. just purging, and it dropped half its weight
I can see soooo many things just raw-downloaded from the 3d warehouse. time to clean stuff.
this could have been 4 files.
should have been really. because one bit is 8km away, the other one 3km away. sketchup isnât fan of that.
that infinite thing is not helping
deleting it makes zoom extant work for me
even after cleaning all that, itâs still 62 million lines and 25.5 million faces.
also, 85.7k component copies and 14k groups. this file is madness.

In addition to what @ateliernab showed, Iâll add thereâs an awful lot of incorrect tag usage.
Purging unused content results in a similar reduction.
And you should clean up the materials. Thereâs really no good reason that the texture for bark on a ficus plant should be as large as it is unless your entire model is about ficus bark. There are a lot of other large texture images
All of this creates file bloat that makes your model hard to work with.
Youâve got your model spread out over more than 20 square kilometers. That doesnât help, either.
It would appear that youâve bloated your model beyond what your computer can handle.
