My layout zoomed out too far and now it seems to have disappeared!

OK. Give me a few minutes.

Thanks!
If you can fix it later, please tell me how to do it so the next time I can try it out if this happens again… :pray:t2:

IT’s very slow because your file is huge. I will tell you what I find, though.

OK. The camera was positioned badly. I fixed it with a pluging called SW Rescue. I see you have content scattered across the countryside. That doesn’t help.

You hsould keep your model together.

There is a lot of incorrect tag usage in your file. ALL edges and faces should be created and remain untagged. Only groups and components should be given tags.

You are hoarding a huge quantity of unneeded components and materials. You need to be cleaning up your models as you go. Use Model Info>Statistics>Purge Unused on a regular basis.

Of the remaining textures in the model there are many that are exessively large. I reduced the 27 largest to a more reasonable size.

I won’t do it but you should go through the objects in your file and reduce the larger ones. There’s no reason something like that first group in this list should have over 787,000 edges.

Finally, you need to go through the model and correct the reversed faces. There should be no exposed blue back faces in your model.

The cleanup I did reduced the file size by about 74%. It needs more work but you should be able to see your model and work on it yourself. Before you add more stuff, clean up what is there. I changed the style to Monochrome and I turned off Profile in the Edge settings for the style.so your graphics card won’t have to work so hard. You can show the materials and profiles if you want but fix the model up first. Here’s the link to to file. I’ll leave it there for two hours but then I need to clear it out.

Wow! You helped me a lot and gave me a lot of suggestions! Thank you so much, you don’t know how it means for me.
I didn’t know about the usage of tags, as I’m very new in Sketchup, plus I learned it on my own using YouTube, and today I found this forum.
I noted what you suggested and I will learn about it.
Once again, thank you so much! :star_struck:
