My Computer is very Slow and I put my models on my Desktop

Hello all.

I have been having a hard time with my sketchup modeling. Currently I am creating models but it is very slow to process. I purge and fix my models every time and turn of my profile but still no luck. I thinking this is not sketchup and its the computer it self. I feel like my computer isn’t working to its full potential. Can anyone help me out on this?

Currently my computer has these specs:

Intel(R) Xeon (R) W-2135 CPU @ 3.70 GHz
32.0 GB RAM
64 Bit operating system
Graphics: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

Your computer specs are fine. Well above what is needed in fact.

Are you following best practices and performance tips ?

Are you still running SU 2017 Make ?

If so, have you tried running a trial of SketchUp Pro 2019 for comparison ?
