Moving Sketchup 2023 application to a different drive — Is there a best way?

Hi,

I want to move my Sketchup 2023 application and associated files from an external SSD (USB-C) to my Fusion Drive (iMac 27", OS Ventura). I’m hoping to improve performance.

Is there a best way to to this? One that will not cause more problems than it’s worth?

You should not run SketchUp from the downloaded disk image file, but install it correctly to your Applications folder.

SSD ought to be slightly faster than fusion drives. Is the fusion Drive the internal startup drive? What was the reason you installed SketchUp on an external drive?
