Can I move SketchUP Make to an external hard drive?

I need to free up space on my C drive. Can I move my SketchUp folder to an external hard drive and still have it remain operational? If yes, what are the steps to do this?

I haven’t tried myself but I think it should be possible to uninstall and install it to the other drive. Simply dragging the files wont work as there are registry entries pointing to the installation folder.

try free CCleaner first.

Noted, thanks. Have already used my Bitdefender disk optimizer, but it did not free up as much space as needed.

Thanks for your suggestion. That is the action that I have been supposing may be necessary, but I was holding out some hope of an easier way. I agree that your suggestion will probably be the cleanest way to proceed.
