In the latest version of Sketchup 2017, while working inside a nest of components, the Move Tool does not follow or lock onto the default axes. I reinstalled the program, it worked for a little while, and now it does not.
Check your Graphics Card is up to date.
Also ensure your SketchUp was installed properly, using the context-menu > “Run as administrator”
