I created a model to demonstrate to my wife’s cad team how a particular french cleat could interact on a mirror they plan to design.
Unfortunately every time I use the move tool, the direction doesn’t follow the axis?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Share the .skp file so we can see what’s mucked up and help you fix it. I’m sure it’s not a bug in SketchUp.

I exploded all groups, re-grouped & re-tagged … the problem went away 
Resolved but no resolution!
