the materialbrowser of sku is one of the areas that could really live up from some optimisation…
when having moderate sized models with large texture sizes the material browser becomes slow to a point where its a pain to use it…
same when working with complex models with a large set of materials…
so i was thinking… why not give the option to only show materials of the active context? that would really be helpfull in some situations and a good start for further optimisation!

Use meaningful names
Use list view (Not possible on Mac, even though collections are called ‘Lists’)

For the record: I do not work for Trimble or SketchUp. The folks who do work for them, may not expose future features, but do take notion of the requests, which is why I merely suggested a priorisation in the order of development…
