MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 Memory leak

I upgraded to MacOS Sierra 10.12.4 yesterday. Using SketchUp Pro2014 17.2.2554. Since updating, SketchUp has been using over 20gb of ram. Anyone else having this problem?

Pro2014? 17.2.2554?

I encountered somewhat similar due to Sketchup open in two accounts (I use a different account on same Mac)

Tablets and space mice and plugins, oh my.

Dave may have been pulling your leg. 17.2.2554 is the current release of SU 2017 for Mac, not SU 2014.

Expanding on what @Barry wrote, the drivers/plugins for space mice are notorious for memory leaks on Mac. Any time you upgrade SU or the OS, you should make sure to also get the latest driver and, if you see wild expansion of memory use, be ready to uninstall the plugin until the vendor gets around to updating it.

If you don’t have one of these devices, there must be some other extension that is running amok.

Yes, Dave, SketchUp 2017 - version 17.2.2554. The 2014 was a typo.

I uninstalled the 3D connexion drivers and that seems to have fixed the problem.

Thank you for the response.
