Lines showing up after hiding layer

I am new to sketch up and working with layer, when I hide the layer some lines are still visible. Please help he how to hide those lines also.

This sounds like a case of incorrect layer usage. Layer 0 should always be the active layer and all edges and faces should be left on layer 0. Make groups or components and assign other layers to them.

All lines and edges are linked with layer0 (by default). When I deselect the layer0 all all lines get off from the screen.

There shouldn’t ever be a reason to turn Layer 0 off. If you are able to do that, you must be making a different layer active which you shouldn’t be doing. As I wrote before, Layer 0 should always be left as the active layer. You cannot turn off or hide the active layer.
