- New user. No problem the previous time I had the program open. Now no lines are visible.
Share the .skp file so we can see what you’re working with. There are a number of possibilities but there’s no point making us guess at which one it is in your case.
CONCHO COFFEE TABLE 2.skp (132.7 KB)
Here you go. Thanks Dave. BTW, Is this Dave Richards who does the woodworking videos?

I’ll take a look. And yes it is.
There’s absolutely nothing in the model you shared.
This doesn’t look like a corrupted file because it opens easily enough but there are no groups or components, no materials, just the default style.
Do you have the .skb backup file? Have you tried renaming it to .skp and opening that?
This is a new file that I started with the settings I gathered from your tutorial. When I was working along with you a couple of weeks ago it seemed to be working fine. Then I started this new file and nothing! I’ll try the renaming thing. If need be I’ll reinstall the program and start over with the settings you recommended.
Thanks Dave.

Kent, I can’t see anything to indicate that you’d need to reinstall the program or create a new template. It looks to me as if you just need to start modeling. I did a little more digging and I see that you have the camera positioned strangely in the file you sent. Do you have issues with this with any file you start?
I’ve fixed the camera for this file of yours. See if it behaves better.
CONCHO COFFEE TABLE 2 B.skp (132.8 KB)
BTW, is the Concho Coffee Table you’re going to model?
It works! Go figure. I’d hate to think it was operator error, but…….?
Thanks Dave. Now I can finally get my coffee table designed!
Best,
Kent
Let’s call it the phase of the moon instead Or maybe the way you were holding your tongue…
Good deal. Good luck and happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you Dave and to you as well!
