when i draw a line or circle etc it dosen’t show
Draw some stuff that doesn’t show, save the .skp file and upload it here so we can see what you have going on.
Please correct your profile. Operating System would be Windows 10, not 2019 Pro. And Win 10 is not a graphics card. What graphics card is in your computer?

Can you record a screen capture video showing what you are doing when you are drawing these shapes? In that file there is nothing but the scale figure.
Exactly. All this just started happening over the last few days as I’m working on a small 3D printing project. I’m using a
Since this just started and SketchUp 2019 hasn’t changed in more than two years, you should be looking at what did change.A graphics driver update with an automatic Windows update seems like the most likely cause. Are you certain that the Nvidia 940MX is being used to display SketchUp? Check the Nvidia control panel. Also go to their site and get their latest graphics drivers to install. After installing them do a power off reboot of the computer. Any change in behavior? Also make sure your computer is plugged into mains power.
If the previous doesn’t change anything, the next step would be to try repairing the SketchUp installation.
Get the installer here. Right click on the downloaded installer, choose Run as administrator, and when the option pops up, choose Repair.
The image you posted makes me suspect that you are using a Microsoft driver for your graphics card. The Nvidia site has a driver released 3 days ago (512.59). Try downloading and installing that.
Yeah Dave I went through all the advice on graphics cards and prefernces out there. going to Nvidia site for the latest driver changing things in SU and all. I believe a Win update is the culpret
That isn’t unusual. Try my second suggestion. It won’t hurt anything at least.
I checked that SU uses that card
I was referring to repairing the SketchUp installation.
Well I’m at a loss. Got a fresh SU & latest driver (after uninstalling both) and checked all the settings but still lines and anything I draw dose not show on the screen. I can see me making the effort but when I make the final click, poof! Nothing’s there.
This is what I’m getting when I draw shapes and edges in the file you uploaded.
Did you actually repair the installation of SketchUp after right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator?
Try installing SketchUp 2022 and running the trial. Do you get the same results? Make sure when you install it you right click on the installer and select run as administrator.
I’m not surprised that you can get a proper results. I was too for 7 years, but that’s moot now. I litterally just received a provisional pattent on a machine I invented and now that I’m onto another filing I get this gremlin invasion.
Do you have access to another computer?
Yeah, but I’m not sure of it’s capabilities yet… I’ve gotta try something that’s for sure.
Did you try installing SU2022 to test that?
can;t afford 2022. Made the upgrade mistake last year and it too a while to get my 2019 back
I’m only suggesting you use the 30-day trial period to see if it behaves differently.
