Hi all, I am new to this, I purchased SketchUp pro yesterday after issues with go running slow. I am working on a plan for a customer which is now well past it’s deadline and i’m still going round in circles and I am desperate for help. When I upload plants, they disappear and just show the blue border, other elements seem fine, just not the plants. I did paste the original image from go as I don’t have the time to rebuild, plus it means I know there is no geometry creating this as I only copied over a small area, I think? I would be so grateful for help!
Please update your profile,
" Operating System : Just purchased" is not an Operating System
“Graphics Card: Not sure” is not a Graphics Card"
And upload your model in order to be helped.
What rtches said.
Without knowing your operating system or graphics card people won’t know how to help. It could be that your hardware is not powerful enough or is too old.
Alternatively your model may be bloated or contain errors that a seasoned professional will easily spot. If you can upload it, directly here or via WeTransfer or Dropbox then someone can take a look and hopefully solve your problem quickly.

Unfortunately, that dump of device info doesn’t provide many of the details we need to know what you are running. Can we assume it is Windows? If so, what version of Windows? Do you believe the report of just 4GB of RAM? For a modern laptop that is pretty minimal, and if true, would very likely lead to poor performance, especially with geometry-intense objects such as plants. If you wait a long time, do the plants finally fill in?
As @cappo requested, if you can share the model people here can try it to see whether there are problems on their systems and suggest ways to improve it.
I’m going to say your laptop might be a bit underspec for CAD?
To share your model you can either upload it here. In the reply box as you are typing there are icons above. Look for the upload icon.
Or if your model is too big to upload on the forum, go to WeTransfer (a file sharing website), follow the instructions and share the download link in a reply.
Hi, yes its windows 11. I have/tried to download copy.
You should save as skp file and share that file in order to load the file by us in SketchUp Pro.
