Blank screen SU Pro 2019

Hi all.

wondering if you could help me. I’ve always used Sketchup Pro 2016 but have since upgraded to Sketchup Pro 2019.

Problem is when I launch the new sketchup I have a blank screen where i’d usually draw.

I’ve uninstalled the previous version thinking it may be conflicting and also updated and restarted my laptop still to no avail.

my laptop is pretty recent Acer intel core i3.

I’ve ran the checkup and my machine meets the minium requirements too.

any help will be much appreciated as I can’t get on with my work.

In SketchUp, go to Window>Preferences>OpenGL. Untick Use Fast Feedback. Does that fix it?

I’m glad that fixed it. The fact that it did indicates that your graphics card isn’t really a great one for 3D modeling. you might want to look into upgrading.

Cool! If they can upgrade the graphics, have them put in a GTX10xx or 20xx series card from Nvidia. They’ve proven to be the most robust and dependable for OpenGL support.
