Line tool cursor a black square instead of a diamond

Hi, my line tool cursor/pointer is now a solid black square. I believe it used to be a small diamond. How do I change it back?

The Line tool cursor is a pencil. Can you show a screenshot of what part of the cursor you’re referring to?

There was recently a fix for the various cursors, because some of them would not show very clearly against a dark face. Now the cursors have a light stroke around them to make sure they can be seen against both light and dark backgrounds. Maybe that’s what looks different now?

Here it is, I moved the pencil away from it just before the photographing it. Ordinarily the pencil is right at the top right corner of the black square, in that outline.
