Licenseproblem

When I start my sketchup pro I get a message that I have it on to many units but I just have one computer.
What do I do?

Do you have a SketchUp Pro subscription?
If you have a subscription, any version of SketchUp you’re logged in to counts as a ‘Device’.

To fix this “problem”, follow these steps:

  • Go to myaccount.trimble.com and sign in with the correct email (Trimble ID).
  • Check 'My Products on the left, then choose ‘View Included Applications’.
At the bottom right of the SketchUp Pro product, you will find the ‘Manage devices’ link
  • Click on this ‘Manage Devices’ link and then click on the blue ‘Deauthorize All’ button in the popup menu.
  • This will trigger the systems to be needing a new sign in inside the products (SketchUp or LayOut)
  • Restart SketchUp and then log in again.

What nnijmeijer said will reset things, but something you can do to prevent the problem from happening again is to open older versions of SketchUp and make sure you are signed out from them. For example, if you have previously used 2019 and 2020, and were still signed in, signing in on 2021 would seem like a third sign in, even though they are all on the same computer. Signing out from 2019 and 2020 would let you be signed in with 2021 on two computers.

Thank you for your help!
