License for Eneroth Reference Manager

Hi,
I purchased Eneroth Reference Manager extension from SketchUp Extension Warehouse but I can’t validate licence from the website. I have Sketchup 2021 and need said it need to connect to sketchup extension warehouse. But for 2021 it is not supported. Could you give me some alternative way? It cost 100$ :face_in_clouds:

The extensions website clearly states that compatable versions are from 2022 up..
But maybe it works if you can get your licence validated.
Perhaps @eneroth3 knows?

The license is managed through the Extension Warehouse which hasn’t supported SketchUp 2021 for a few years. When other users have brought this up in the past the answer has been that there isn’t a way to add commercial extensions from the Extension Warehouse in old, unsupported versions. If you aren’t going to update to the current version of SketchUp so you can use the extension, it seems like you should submit a ticket with Customer Support to get a refund.

when I was buying, it was supported for 2021 :sob:

Do you mean, contact form fromt that web site? Contact Us | SketchUp Help | SketchUp or is there special sketchup extension web site?

Contact Customer Support through that link. If you just bought the extension they should be able to sort out a refund for you. Of course if you bought it years ago they wouldn’t give you a refund.

When was that?

Well, they will have to decide whether or not they will make the refund. Good luck.

I had licensing problems with two extensions (Eneroth Ref Manager and Slide View).

The problem was very hard to find. The solution was to remame my Trimble ID.

My ID was my business name +&+Architects. The + and/or the & caused problems. I had to remove these special characters.

Not sure if this helps you. Good luck with it anyway.

You could also test TIG´s plugin, Xref Manager, it´s completely free and has the exact same features of eneroth´s plugin. You can find it on the sketchucation store and you won’t have the licensing issue since it´s free.

SketchUp 2021 hasn’t been supported by extensions warehouse for 2 or 3 years , so shouldn’t have been able to buy it at all unless you went out to your way to buy it via a web browser. Bit of an oversight that Trimble allow it. Whoops
