1125 lucht3.skp (5.4 MB)
All of the sudden when opening layout my model won’t update/render. I have it set to hybrid and had no trouble working on it yesterday. Now upon opening, the file doesn’t render correctly and “doesn’t respond” when I try to update the file. The file size is relatively small. I have purged the file already from unused objects. I am at a loss as to what to try next.
Can you post the LayOut file…?
Have you also considered using the export override? Keep everything in Raster while working and only render in Hybrid when exporting?
You will collect snow and rainwater in your roof… so if you do get it to update and export you will have water problems.
I had converted to hybrid a day or so ago. I had been working it on it with no problem. I don’t know that I can get it to load “enough” to change it. I’ll try and let you know.
Post your LayOut file… someone here can probably help.
I was able to let it sit and load and not try to update the skp file. Then after 30 mins it loaded. I switched it back to raster to mark up the drawings and then i will switch it back to hybrid. I think the issue ultimately is my graphics card and I will be replacing that in the next week. The layout file appears to be too large to load.
Don’t switch it back to Hybrid. Use the output override. Keep it in raster for working. Out put to Hybrid when you export:
Thanks for the tip. I haven’t done it that way before. I appreciate so much!
Just saw you are still using 2019? If that is true then this won’t work - you’ll need a recent version of LayOut for that.
If you are using a recent version please update your forum profile - it helps us help you.
