On page 2 of the attached file, the top scene is meant to be a section I set up in SU. To create it in LO, I copied the window below it and then changed the SU scene and Standard View (to None).
LO will allow me to change to Section but will not allow me to change the standard view. Which means I get the odd thing you see here:
Simon, we’ve been over this several times, you and I. Modifying the Camera properties for the scene in LayOut will prevent the camera position changing when you change to a new scene. Every viewport in your LO file has the Camera properties overridden. You should reset them all before you do anything else. If they aren’t correct for what you want to show in LayOut, go back to the SketchUp model and fix the scenes or create appropriate ones.
Remember to ensure correct tag usage in your models, too.
That shows how many edges and faces had their tags changed back to Untagged. You know that all edges and faces should be created and remain untagged and that only groups and components should be given tags.
I ran Default Tag Geometry, an extension by TIG and available from Sketchucation.
Oh wow! I never knowingly tag raw geometry. As you say, I do know you shouldn’t do that. Makes me wonder how they became tagged. Curiouser and curiouser.
You may have also inherited some incorrect tag usage, then, too. Default Tag Geometry would help when you are going through the process of checking and cleaning up the objects you get the 3D Warehouse.
