Hi, I have a question concerning layout when changing the font size smaller- the minimum is size 9 is there any way to make it even smaller?
Type the number you want
Unfortunately, I have tried to do this but it does not change. I am using a MAC layout 2020. Do you have any idea what may be preventing it?
Try to select a text first.
Hi @danistox1 - See Gif here. I’m on mac with LO v2020. Keep in mind that the Text panel is driven by OSX (like the colors panel) and not LayOut App. That means that you need to treat it differently. Start by expanding the text (or Fonts) panel. That should ‘reveal’ the box @mihai.s showed you for manually changing text size.
I recently had a hard time finding the text color on Big Sur:
As an aside I do feel like 7 and 8pt should be selectable by default, as they are quite common sizes for dimensioning models, and that some of the other inbetween sizes (eg 22, 26) may not be as important.
Thank you SO much for posting the video of how to reduce text size. I’m on a MAC with LO 2020 and didn’t realize that enlarging the text panel would allow for manual entry of the text size. The drop down doesn’t offer less than 9 pt so finding this video (after being unaware of this option for an embarrassingly long time) is game changing for me. Thanks to you @eric-s and the SU community for being such a great resource! Cheers!
