It’s puzzling that it shows up differently on different machines with the same operating system. I see it on mine like you do. I’m afraid I haven’t got an instant solution for you. If you select all of the text boxes on the page to make some change, you’ll manage to modify some that don’t appear to need it. It also seems like different text boxes need different fixing so I think it’s going to be a matter of churning through them one at a time.
I would suggest for future projects, saving the text out of Word in the .rtf file type and inserting the .rtf file into LayOut would be a better option. That also allows you to maintain a link to the original document in case it needs to be edited.
