I use Layout’s export function for pdf’s and dwg files, it works but is extremely slow.
What does not work is the page range function, if I select the range for one page (8-8) it exports all the pages contained in the file both for pdf and dwg

This also applies to the print function when printing pdf’s
Do you have raster-rendered viewports that are being rendered as Hybrid or have you shut off the Output Override in Document Setup>Rendering. If the box is ticked export can be slow because any raster rendered viewports will first have to be rendered as Hybrid (or Vector if set that way).
If you only want page 8, enter just 8, not 8-8.
