Exporting files from layout

When converting Vector drawings to PDF the Quality does not seam to be good - so im looking for solutions to export the layout file to a better PDF - is there any suggestions ? i have tried exporting it using vector and hybrid but when you zoom in the lines are blurred still - when a PDF is made in Autocad and you zoom it does not - why is this ? what other PDF software can i use ??? i feel that if i dont find a solution i need to start all over again to learn a different software because of this - which would be very dissapointing - i cant export to DWG because the colours and textures are not converted so exporting to cad is not also a solution sadly

When you export to PDF and want all lines become vectors. Please check this:

Please note: This is only available in SketchUp 2024.

If you’re not using SketchUp 2024, you must manually set Hybrid for every viewport in your entire documents.

Are you exporting in High for output resolution? See the preferences for rendering.

Hi yes

I’m using high resolution option but the pdf from layout seams to be of less quality, is there anything else I can do to improve the output. I’ve tried hybrid , raster and vector

Post the PDF and the Layout file. If they are too large to drop into a reply use DropBox or similar and share a link.

Uncheck the “Use JPEG compression” box in your PDF export options. Raster or hybrid output from SketchUp views will show ugly splotchy artifacts if used. JPEG compression is designed to be used for photographs and similar images.

What’s you recommendations

When converting it the jpeg compression I click it ?

But I can still use hybrid or raster ?
