Layout DWG Fail

I’m using Layout for the first time, and I need to send my drawings on to be edited further, when I exported it as a DWG in Vectorworks it exported as an image. How do I get the drawing to export as a DWG with individual lines? The image attached is how it looks in Vectorworks.

You must set your LayOut viewports to use Vector rendering.
