We might be able to help you if you share the LayOut file.

What graphics card in your computer?

Your LayOut file is very slow to open. While I was waiting I opened one of the SketchUp models and did my usual cleanup process.

Fixed incorrect tag usage.

Purge unused content. There’s no reason to be hoarding all those components and materials.

I also reduced the size of the excessively large textures in the model. All this reduced the file size by 61%.

All of these contribute to making the LayOut file slow. I’ll look at the other .skp file and see if I can reduce it and then, if your LayOut file will behave, I’ll replace the .skp references with the reduced model files.

There are some unused references in the LayOut file which ought to be purged.

Back shortly.

Thanks Dave !

Similar reduction in the other .skp file. 62% this time. Both .skp references have been replaced with the smaller ones. LayOut will still be slow with the vector rendering. You need to unlock viewports to get them to update. Better to lock the viewport layers rather than the viewports themselves. That way the viewports can update when needed.

Going forward make it a practice to keep your models clean before you even start in LayOut.

Here’s the link to the file. It will be looking at the embedded SketchUp models now; not your originals. If you want to access the versions in the LayOut file, right click on a viewport, choose Open with SketchUp, and then use File>Save as … to save it out of the LO file. You’ll also want to relink the reference to the file you’ve saved.

By the way, I notice the first sheets in your LayOut template contain symbols and other content that would be better placed in scrapbooks. As it is, those things are needlessly bloating your LayOut project files. Make scrapbooks to contain those things and drag them into documents when you need them.

Thanks a lot ! i juste create a scrapbook so i will delete de pages with the blocks !

Good deal. After you do that, go into the References list and purge unused stuff.
