LayOut 2025 - Dimension Text Glitch

I’m wondering if anyone has run into an issue where the dimension text in LayOut doesn’t display fully.

The top, circled dimension should read 1’-4” and the bottom circled dimension should read 11’-11 3/4”.

If I double-click into the dimension text box (as if to edit it) and escape out of it, the dimension text will then display fully.

I’m having a hard time pinning down the issue as the dimensions affected are at random. Most of the dimensions on a page are unaffected it is usually just a few. I also haven’t nailed down when the “glitch” occurs. When I initially pull the dimensions, they display as expected. I’m guessing it happens when I update the viewport’s model reference, but it doesn’t happen every time.

Please upload the Layout file for examination. With the model we do not have to guess what is causing your issue

Here’s one of the files that has the issue.

Are you still using SketchUp/LayOut 2025 as per your profile? I opened your file in LO2026 and see this:

Look at your text settings in the styles tray and see if it is bounded or unbounded. It might have gotten saves as bounded and the text box doesnt automatically adjust its size. The dimensioning tool defaults to the last saved settings.

I am still using 2025.

I recall some others had reported this issue with LO 2025. Install SU/LO 2026 and see if you still have the issue on your end.

Just checked, and it looks like the dimensions’ text boxes are unbounded.

Yes, I opened it up in LayOut 2026 and the dimensions display correctly.

I was hoping for a 2025 solution but I may need to switch over to 2026 a little sooner than planned.

I didnt think bounding affected dimensions but Ive had it with Lables and Text Boxes.
