Im using Sketchup and Layout 2025 on a Windows 11 PC with 32gb RAM, AMD ryzen 5 9600X, and NVidia GeForce RTX 5060Ti.
Currently I am having an issue that when I update scenes in Layout they change style from the style that is in the sketchup model and there is no reset view option available.
My current work around is to cycle the views between raster and hybrid rendering and that seems to reset the style to what it is in the model. But I have maybe 20 or 30 views to do this on and it wastes a lot of time.
I have something similar happen occasionally and over the years and have reported such occurrences to the SketchUp team.
In my case I have just the one style in the SketchUp model and apply viewport specific styles directly in Layout. These styles reside in a separate folder on another local drive to the default SketchUp folders.
Well classically the file that was doing it in the video has now just stopped doing it……. I’ll see if I can find another one that is doing it and post that.
I tend to apply all my styles in my sketchup model and save it to the view. I think it mostly occurs when I have hidden a group or component directly in the model instead of hiding using a tag.
