Layers are visible but content is missing - HELP!

I’ve been drawing working on a whole house 2D floor plan, and I went to focus on one part of it, and when I went back to focus the upstairs layers, the layers are still visible in the “Tags” window, but the actual content is not showing up anywhere. I saved the document prior to realizing this so wondering where it’s hiding or how to revert back to a previous version.

So the tags are visible but not the content? Can you share the .skp file so we can see what you’ve got. There’s probably a logical explanation.

Are you still using SU 21.0?

Thank you.

Yes I am using SU 21.0. The file is attached here. I am looking for all the layers under “Upstairs”
151_Crane_Neck_1st_Floor_Floor_Plan.skp (3.0 MB)

Unfortunately, I see no geometry with those tags in this model, all the tags under Upstairs and Stairs are not applied to anything in the model. Do you have any previous versions saved? If any of the missing elements were components then they will still be present in the components window.

There are no layers in SketchUp. As @endlessfix indicates, the tags in the Upstairs tag folder are not applied to anything in this file. If you purge unused tags and tag folders you see these all get removed. Hopefully you have an earlier version of the file. Or at least go through the components in the In Model components collection and see if there are components you can drag back out to rebuild the model.
