Hey Folks,
I have been using SketchUp v8 (2010 I think) for years. Been thinking it is time to drag myself into this century.
My question is: If I download and install 2016 will my old favorite T-shirt (v8) still work??? In the past I remember that the older versions would remain working.
Note: It’s been a very long time since I’ve been on this community. My old login and PW didn’t work and I had to re-join…. Happy to say…“Nice Site!”

Yes, you can install multiple versions of SketchUp side-by-side. Each uses it’s own settings and plugins folder (which have moved to the user %AppData% folder hierarchy on Windows.)
SketchUp updated to use Ruby 2.0 with v2014, so any plugins and extensions need the latest to be installed from the Extension Warehouse or the SketchUcation PluginStore.

That is how it was in SketchUp’s early years. I’m happy to learn that it has not changed.
