Insert point on a path Layout 2020

I have been trying to insert a point on a path with Layout 2020, I have done it in the previous version as DaveRSketchUp Sage on this topic is explaining but with LAyout 2020 I can’t. Can anyone check if this is an issue with Layout 2020 or maybe there is a different way of doing it?

Double click on the path to open it for editing. Hold Alt while clicking on the path where you want the point.

Oh man, I’ve not used that before. Wish we had it in SU itself.

If you use Fredo6’s Bezier Spline or FredoSpline you have that sort of option in SketchUp.

Hi Dave, Thanks for your quick reply. If I open a new document with a standard template seem to work fine but using my personalized template, it doesn’t.


I’m also attaching the template.

In your template turn on Object Snap and then try it.
