on the contrary, it’s an application supplied with it’s own hardware …
when used with other applications, via extensions, it functions more like a VM [virtual machine] overriding the systems native expectations…
a quick internet search for 3Dconnexion problems with any of these apps [and more] will show many results…
it is a very difficult coordinate any two programs, developed by different companies…
the only way to know if it’s part of your issue, is to test without it installed…

this is not the experience of many users…
just keep sending them in and one may pin point your local conflicts origin…
and don’t forget that the User is ‘just an input device’ and the root cause of many issues…
