Importing the plans into Sketchup Pro 2017

I have downloaded The AUTOCAD 2018 and SKETCHUP 2017 and tried to import while saving as 2010 dwg or DXF 2010.

It didnt work to me…can anyone help how to import the plans into Sketchup Pro 2017?

I HAVE TRIE TO SOLVE WITH:

NOTHING HAD HELPED

This is odd.

Where are the CAD files saved ?

I suspect that SketchUp v2017 will only import DWG/DXF files made by similar age AutoCAD versions or older.
You can always use save_as on your CAD file, selecting from the drop-down version/type list, which would then give you an earlier compatible version [or you could use AutoDesk’s TrueView to downgrade to a suitable version].
Since SketchUp only imports geometry, a considerably older version of a CAD file is unlike to be missing anything vital.
