I am trying to correct the file path for Materials in the Sketchup Preferences dialog box. I know the file path, but seem to be unable to navigate it in the dialog box. I am on a Mac, SketchUp 2026, everything up to date.

correct filepath to Materials. When I open the Materials window in Sketchup I get the weirdest random list of files. I am baffled. HELP!!!

There was another topic about this, where I gave more instructions:
The fix that came out in the 2023.0.1 update should prevent the double entry and empty in model issue from happening. But, you may need to do this extra steps after the update:
In Finder, Go menu, Go to Folder… paste in this path:
~/Library/Colors/
In that folder, delete any .clr files. You’re likely to recognize some of the names!
Reopen SketchUp and see if your language is the only in model entry, and that it has material…

Please just use JPG or PNG when asking for help. I don’t think anyone wants to download PDFs if they don’t have to.
