I can't create a window

You keep asking questions and the basic answer is pretty much the same… learn the basics. SketchUp is easy to learn but that’s not the same as “you don’t have to learn how to use it because it is so simple it just models everything for you”

I promise our training is easy to get through and you will learn the answer to ALL the questions you have asked so far!

This is going to be a week full of frustration then..

You should have learned the basics before starting the trial when doing a running start..

Use the Eraser tool and delete the lines.

If a whole lot of geometry is deleted, it means that these are in a group or a component. Double click on the group or component to enter its context then delete the unneeded lines. Remember that groups and components may be nested. If this is the case, you may need more than one double click to access the container of the lines to be deleted.

Again, as many wrote previously, using the help, the Instructor Window and Youtube videos are a must to get acquainted with SketchUp.

If those lines are created by autofold then the adjacent faces wil be deleted too..

That’s what I showed in my posts and the adjoining files but, you are right, I forgot to mention Autofold.

Learn the terms used by the program. You must have encountered them if you have watched all the videos!

Go back to using crayons

I can train you if you really want to use it, but there’s no point in learning how to use SU if it’s for a one-off purpose. In that case you need someone to do it for you. However, if you’re willing to pay for it, I can do either. In that case please send me a private message.
