I’ve been trying to create a ■■■■ window for two days using this stupid thing but the push/pull thing doesnt create an opening. I’ve followed nearly every ■■■■ video on youtube but it doesn’t work.
How do I create a window? it shouldnt be this difficult
draw a wall. don’t group it yet. if you have grouped it, then enter the group.
draw your window. push it until you find the other side of the wall. the other side can be found different ways. maybe you know the thickness of the wall (therefore you just push that distance).
or you can manually click on the other side of the wall.
or you can push and grab a corner of the back side.
if this is not working for you, please share a file where you can’t make it work, and maybe a screen recording like I did ? maybe you’re missing a step, maybe your wall is specific (not parallel for example)

You’ve made the face on the end a group, so the ‘window’ will not interact with it.
Also, once the group is exploded you’ll find that the ‘window’ overlaps the outer wall.
i dont know what any of those words mean. I just want to create a simple wall with some windows.
Idk can someone just get on zoom with me and tell me what to do? this is beyond frustrating

Copy the door face to other site of your double wall.
make push-pulls
I just deleted the double wall
I somehow was able to show different flooring options in the tray but I can’t figure out how I did it.
That’s good. No walls, no doors needed. 
No one is born knowing how to use Sketchup. There is no other way than to learn and practice.
Do you know how I can load more flooring options in the default tray?

Yes, I think I was able to figure it out. Right now I’m unable to select or change the flooring and I don’t know why.
My recommendation, based on your questions, would be to do some training. You would not have to do much to get what you want out of SketchUp, but you do have to learn how to use a thing before you can use it sometimes.
