Open SketchUp.
Go to the little person shaped icon upper right of the main application window (might be different on PC, I’m on Mac).
Click the icon, sign out. Quit SKP.
Open SKP.
I can’t even get to an opening page
What Mac are you using?
What graphic card?
Please fill out your forum profile.
Great. Put that in your forum profile.
What version of the OS? Sonoma, Sequoia, Tahoe? Something else?
24 worked? 25 worked? Do you still have one of those installed?
There are some preference files you can delete … but I’m not sure which ones. Hopefully @colin sees this and can help.
Not sure what you’re asking, it’s in my profile. All I did was close some open files and the next thing I could no longer open any. I’m currently using a trial version just to get some work delivered.
Your profile says you are using SketchUp 2024 and you are using Sonoma. Your graphics card says 18GB which makes no sense, it is M3 / Metal 3 according to that screen shot you posted.
So you can use the software in trial mode just not when you log in?
Is that 2024? 2025?, 2026?
If you can use the software but it goes sideways when you try to log in you will probably be best served reaching out and filing a support ticket as something must be wrong with your license / credentials. It’s the weekend so I’m not sure if @colin or @Missa_g will be along to see this post and hopefully point you in the right direction.

That message appears if you have deauthorized this computer since you started SketchUp. Or, it may be that your subscription expired.
I see you started a trial a few days ago, which should work for another four days. Maybe you tried SketchUp on several computers?
The current trial should only let you test 2026, and that version has a new feature where you can deauthorize other computers, to leave only the current computer being authorized. I did try that on Mac, and found I had to do one more sign out and sign in again, to be able to use SketchUp.
So, try 2026, and see if you get an option to only authorize the current computer.
Whatever you say about the graphics, I don’t see a “graphic card” call out specifically. I can’t log in. I resorted to the trial just so I could finish something. I’ve been using 2024 for over year with no problems. Seems like this all started concurrent with notices from Trimble about some admin changes, but I swear all I did was close some files. Thank you very much for trying to help, it is appreciated.
I can’t imagine what I might have done to deauthorize, and I know my subscription was renewed on time 5 months ago. I have no interest in 2026 version. I have no other computers running SKP. I’ve done the sign out/sign in thing. Thanks for trying to help, I truly appreciate it.
