I cannot launch SketchUp 2026. When I open it, there is a flash on the screen, but the main interface does not appear.

are you on windows or mac, and which version? has sketchup 2026 opened successfully before, or has this happened since installing it? do you see any error or bugsplat message after the flash?

It is possible that the graphics system on your PC does not support SketchUp.
SketchUp’s classic renderer requires OpenGL 3.1 support. Your system may be too old. The basic pieces were released in 2015.

If your graphics card driver is older than the version 582.78 that was released on September 30, you might try downloading and installing that one from the Nvidia website.
It might be possible that the graphics card cannot support the new graphics engine although Nvidia says it does (DirextX 12 level 11). I think that in that case there might be a hack that forces SU to start with the Classic engine but I don’t find it at the moment.
