I keep trying to open sketchup 2026 but just instant Bug Splat. Sketchup 2025 works fine what am I doing wrong?
Are you sending in the Bug Splat reports with your name and email address attached? If so, @colin could check to see what they show.
Do you have Lumion installed? If so, temporarily remove it. Did you install SketchUp correctly? That requires right clicking on the downloaded installer and selecting Run as administrator.
What graphics card?

The crashes are happening while Lumion is loading. I read somewhere that they are working on a fix for some issues. You could remove the Lumion files from here for now:
%AppData%\SketchUp\SketchUp 2026\SketchUp\Plugins\
Or you could try updating the extension, to see if the fixes they did in February will help:

I have sent Bug Splat reports with my name either Jim Ironside or jgironside66
I have completely uninstalled Lumion from my main computer
As far as I am aware I have installed Sketchup properly
Graphic’s card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090
I have just updated my profile
The crashes you sent in today are still happening while Lumion is loading. Look in this folder, and remove the Lumion .rb file and the Lumion folder:
c:/users/jgiro/appdata/roaming/sketchup/sketchup 2026/sketchup/plugins/

The user AppData directory is normally hidden. You can make hidden folder and files visible in File Explorer.
Or copy and paste this into the field at the top of File explorer.
%AppData%\SketchUp\SketchUp 2026\SketchUp\Plugins\
Either do what Dave said, or copy and paste the path that I gave.
