i am using sketchup with one deminsion walls, some of my door will paint, some do not. Why?
Impossible to say without seeing your model.
Impossible is the best way to describe this program
Well, not really. You do need to learn how to use it. Why don’t you share the .skp file with us so we can help you? Or, it’s New Year’s Eve. Go celebrate or something.
Thank you. Will do after New Years

Some doors will paint, other won’t
Some faces are hidden and some aren’t If you orbit around you can see there are faces missing.
You’ve chosen the Hidden Line style which is intended to hide materials anyway.
Unhide all of the hidden geometry in the model and choose a style that will show textures such as Construction Documentation. Then you’ll have faces to apply materials to and you’ll be able to see those materials.
There are still missing faces for the roofs.
Before you start applying textures to your model you should take some time to go through the instructional materials at learn.sketchup.com In particular learn about how to correctly develop your 3D model using groups and components. Separating the floor into a group, the walls into at least one other groups, and the roofs into at least a third group will make the modeling process easier for you. Doors and windows should be components separate from the walls. Also you should be modeling so the walls have thickness. Faces in SketchUp have no thickness. There should be no exposed blue back faces; only white front faces. Once the geometry is done correctly then you can edit the groups and paint the faces inside.
