How to make a white roof look white?

I can’t get a white roof to look white. It looks tan. How can I fix this? It’s for design review and I am sure they will want it to look white. Sketchup 2018

edit your material with your own colour

In the shadows setting tick Use sun for shading.

In the shadows setting tick Use sun for shading.

And set the Light slider to 0 and the Dark slider to 80. This results in a totally non-shaded view where all materials match their material browser thumbnaila.
