I think I want shadow “on faces” or “on ground” option. but it doesn’t allow me to click on somehow.

That must be one of SU’s most discrete switches (highlighted in yellow). It would probably help a few people if it was clearly labelled the same as the Fog setting in the screen grab e.g. a tick box with Display Shadows. I know it’s a little thing, but these things matter to simplify usability & limit frustration.
