How to fix This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action?

I am going to uninstall Sketchup 23 (30 days trial version) from my PC. and the pop up asking that “This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page.”

I already have attached a screenshot for your kind attention.

Would you please help me how to fix the problem?? I need to uninstall the app from my machine.

My operating system is Windows 11 pro.

Try repairing your installation / installing SU as administrator. Then remove.

Hi Nilkanto, I am having the same issues as you. Has it been resolved on your end?

I had the same issue. I downloaded the installer again, and ran it. It provided a repair or remove option. I tried the repair first. Then the removal worked for me.
