How to enter a radius for rounding corners on ipad

I’ve spent some time trying to work out what it is that makes it fail, all I can see is perhaps you are tapping and moving the tip of the pencil.
Basically it is Tap to start, drag out to magenta, lift off, then tiny double tap right on the endpoint square. If you are hesitant or miss the square or drag the pencil the arc will disappear.

Another thing it could be, I have just tested using Click Move Click rather than Just Draw and it doesn’t work the same. But I never use that option myself, always Just Draw.

I used to use Click Move Click more often with the old iPad and original Apple Pencil, but found that became infuriating for some reason when I got the new M4 iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro, so I switched to Just Draw and find that much better.

Thank @Box and @RTCool, I’m sure it’s me, but it’s frustrating. I do however like the new ability on both the iPad and the Desktop of being able to double click/tap and have it repeat.

That is far from new, most tools have always worked that way.

Right, but I thought that was new in 2025?

  • 2-Point and 3-Point Arc – Using the filet functionality of the Arc tools () is now more obvious. After creating a tangent arc, an arc tangent to edges at both ends, SketchUp will show the availability of that arc at other edge intersections on a face. You can then double-click to repeat that arc.

Ok, yes the magenta arc showing what will happen if you double click is new.
