How to access Sefaira "Evaluation Mode"

Has anyone been able to successfully access sefaira “evaluation mode” (the new alternative to free trial). There are no clear directions online for how to access it…

I’ve downloading the sefaira plugin:

I’ve contacted Sketchup for help but they keep sending me back to this webpage (which doesn’t actually explain how to access evaluation mode):
https://help.sketchup.com/en/extending-sketchup/sefaira-evaluation-mode#:~:text=Sefaira’s%20Evaluation%20Mode%20allows%20SketchUp,fixed%20location%2C%20Suceava%2C%20Romania.

I’m beginning to think “evaluation mode” doesn’t actually exist or there’s a bug.

S.O.S.

Generally you need to speak to a salesperson.

If you have a Pro subscription or a trial, then you should be able to open:
https://sefaira.sketchup.com, login with your Trimble ID and start using Sefaira.
That page has links to download the extensions.
You do not need to ask anyone to activate it.
It will not work if you do not have a subscription or a trial.
If it’s still not working please send a note explaining what is not working.

Also I agree the help articles are not very clear and we will get them fixed.

This is what I’m seeing on my end. I clicked the link given above:

And to clarify, I am currently on a Sketchup Pro Monthly Plan.

Any suggestions?

I’ll give that a shot and keep you updated.

Honestly, if you go to this page https://www.sketchup.com/en/plans-and-pricing, you can see that Sefaira is listed only for higher education subscription. There is nothing mentioned about it for Pro or even Studio.

If you go to Energy Efficient Design Software | Green Design | Sefaira | SketchUp at the end of the page you will see:
$1995 for Sefaira - Web, Annual Plan.

So perhaps the Sefaira doe snot included in Pro or Studio anymore! @corney ?

Hi all,
To close the loop here, we have discovered that people on a monthly pro subscription do not have the necessary entitlements to get access to evaluation mode in Sefaira. We are going to fix this. A Studio trial is a pathway to unlock that access at this time.
Other subscribers (on Pro annual subscriptions and Studio subscriptions) should be able to access Sefaira and use all the features with the only limitation being a single climate for analysis.
Thanks
Andrew

That explains things. Thank you for digging into this. When can I expect this to be fixed?

@dezmo Full Sefaira access is not included in commercial SketchUp subscriptions.

Jacob is asking about the Sefaira evaluation mode, which should be available to Pro subscribers.

@jacob3 We’ve raised a ticket with the Trimble team that manages entitlements, so it’s in the system…

So…30 days? 3 months? I understand that these things are hard to gauge but can you give me some kind of timeline so that my architecture firm can gauge expectations. I’d rather pivot and start using something else rather than wasting time, checking back every couple days…
