Hi there,
I am getting “dots” when dimensioning. They make my viewports spotted and I don’t know how to get rid of them. Any ideas?

Select all the dimensions, right click and select reconnect with the model, if they’re still red, you must double click on them and it will show you the lines that aren’t connected to your sketchup model.
I meant these dots. They are not red. I do know about red dimensions though and how to fix those. I just don’t know why these dots are showing up. This is new to me.
I don’t think she’s talking about the red flags, but the little dots showing up in the drawing?

Somehow the line type of your leader lines got set to dashed. You can drill down into the dimensions and see it. I don’t know a quick way to fix them all at once. @DaveR is the master at Layout.
Good catch on the problem.
@Velina, I just opened the LO file and see the same issue. The problem stems for the stoke settings for the extension lines.
Not sure how you got them set this way. Double click into a dimension and select one extension line at a time. Change Dashes to a solid line and set the scale to 1. Select the other extension line and do the same thing. After you’ve done that, exit edit mode for the dimension. Get the eye dropper from the toolbar, sample the modified dimension and then click on the other dimensions to apply the style change.
Thank you @DaveR. You always help me figure things out. Below is a link to an 8 year old YouTube video on how to set the extensions lines so they always stay the same length. That’s why they were set the way they were. You don’t have to watch it, but it’s here if anyone wants to.
Setting the extension line the way you suggested would undo my short line setting of couse but at least the dot is gone, but then I would have to move the extension line out of the way again.
However, I totally forgot about that old video above and your suggestion made me remember I had this all set up in a scrapbook. So I opened it up, copy and pasted the dimension style into this particular layout and sampled it to clean up the viewports.
