How can I remove a fill pattern I applied to an object?

I added a turf pattern to an area and now I want to remove it. I am super new to this software, and it is so different from other illustration software I’ve used. I just cannot figure this out and have been trying for a while. I appreciate your help! I’m sure it is simple.

Just press “pattern” again, so that it’s set to dont show texture. In the picture attached, there is border, and fill, and those features are “armed”, you can see those being darker grey.
