Thanks! As I told you in your post, you can also model the geometry. I used Flowify to apply it to the shape of the backrest of the chair. For V-Ray Enmesh I used geometry, not texture!

Yes, I used a bit of SubD and all the relevant tools. I thought re-mesh would be more like an automated command / a modifier in Blender (not sure about this latter). I downloaded the model and will have a look. Thank you again fot the clear demonstration.
