Hidden Line View Issues

Hi all,

I’m a little new to sketchup and I’m having a little bit of trouble with the hidden line view. To be precise, I’m trying to make the aircraft in the file below look like a line drawing. To do this, I’ve added a profile edge around the plane, using “styles window” → “edge”. After that, I disabled shadows, hidden geometry, guides etc. and switched to “hidden line” in the “styles” toolbar.

This achieves the desired effect I’m looking for, but only to a point. If you follow the steps I listed, you’ll notice that the nose of the plane disappears from view once the hidden line style is equipped. For whatever reason, the nose is a separate piece from the rest of the fuselage, which in my mind shouldn’t matter, but it appears that the nose isn’t actually given a profile edge line like the rest of the plane when I check the box in the styles window.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong and how do I fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, here’s the link for the file:

Bombardier BD-100 Challenger 300

Sections of the model have had the edges hidden, if you select them and unhide them the profiles will appear.

You’re my hero! Thank you. :joy:
