Does anyone have an idea how I’d go about making a curve like this?

There are many ways to make a “curve” in SketchUp. It’s hard to tell from the photo what that object really is. Is the hook section a cone? Tapering on one side, or is that a trick of the camera perspective. Are the hooks designed to go over a tube or cylinder of consistent diameter? Do you need to make it “look” like that hook, or to actually be a recreation of that hook with accurate dimensions? If the latter, you will need a more accurate set of measurements from the real world object than a photo can supply.
In a case like this the finished product and it’s purpose drives the method of creation.
