Help! Stretch/scale tool issues

Hello, I am having issues stretching/scaling a equilateral triangle. I have a circle that is 1 ft away from a point within the triangle. When I scale it, I want the circle to stay the same size and remain 1 ft away from the point.

I included a video of the issue on sketchup. I also showed the desired outcome in AutoCad. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

You are resizing a group with both the triangle and circle in it. That will always resize everything together. To resize JUST the triangle, select JUST the triangle.

That did it! Thanks! I wasn’t aware that pressing shift allowed the triangle to be scaled like that, but after a bit of messing around I found it. Thanks again.
